Tom Tanhchareun

Tom Tanhchareun is a social justice activist and public policy practitioner, with over a decade’s experience working across government and civil society.

He has focused extensively on disability inclusion, and has advised the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on disability and other inclusion issues. Most recently, he managed CBM Inclusion Advisory Group’s Australia team, supporting the disability movement to partner with mainstream development actors. Tom is strongly committed to tackling power inequalities and structural barriers to support marginalised communities to speak on their own behalf and make decisions about their own lives. He holds a Master of Gender and Social Policy from the Australian National University.
