Better disability data for better policy

High-quality disability data is essential to understand inequality, identify barriers and facilitators, and design, monitor, and evaluate policies that advance the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities.

CIP works across statistical, administrative, citizen-generated, and budget data. We support governments, development partners, and Organisation of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) through technical assistance, research, training, and better methods for collecting, analyzing, and using disability data.

Turning budgets into a tool for inclusion

Policies and programs cannot deliver disability rights without adequate funding. CIP’s CRPD-compliant budget analysis examines whether public resources support the implementation of the CRPD and helps OPDs engage with government budgets and public spending.
